What is corrective exercise, and how is it different from regular training?
- Corrective Exercise is a form of personal training in which the goal is to retrain a dysfunctional movement and/or correct a muscular imbalance. These exercise plans may be combined with a current physical therapy program or be implemented on their own.What certifications or qualifications do your trainers have?
- All trainers have NASM-CPT. Many trainers have additional college degrees and certification specialties.Do you offer group training?

5. What is a Biomechanics and what is a biomechanic assessment?
- Biomechanical principles can identify postural and movement compensation patterns and develop
strategies to address them. Weak or tight muscles can contribute to compensatory posture by pulling the
body out of alignment. Through biomechanical assessments, individuals can identify muscle imbalances
and target specific muscle groups with tailored exercises to improve strength and flexibility, thus
promoting better posture and ideal functional movement patterns.6. What is Neuromuscular Therapy?
- Neuromuscular Therapy is a manual tissue therapy with which the goal is to treat the cause of your pain
and not just the symptoms or effects. NMT treats possible trigger points that may exist within soft tissue.
A thorough assessment is performed prior to treatment to assure the treatment is as effective as possible.7. Can you help with chronic pain or past injuries?
- Yes, if they are muscle related.8. How often should I come in to see progress with pain relief?
- That will be based on the individual person’s situation and their pain issues. -
What is TPI golf fitness?
- It is a specialized training program designed to improve golf performance and prevent injuries.What do the cameras do during a TPI Golf Fitness assessment?
- Trackman cameras collect data on your swing to help trainers target the areas of your body that may need strengthening, or need to increase mobility.Will a golf fitness program help improve my swing speed and consistency?
- By combining Trackman’s data-driven insights w/ TPI fitness training, you can enhance your golf performance by improving your physical condition, mobility, and strength in a way that directly benefits your swing and overall game.Do I need to bring my clubs or golf shoes to the evaluation?

- Cost is $250 for a pre-assessment and $250 for a post-assessment. $100/hr for a TPI lesson based on your needs from the pre-assessment.

- It is the use of sound frequencies to release negative emotions such as anxiety, stress, anger, fear, etc. from being stored within the body. Once these negative emotions are removed from the body it can help stop recurring negative thought patterns and even physical ailments.Do you offer women specialty health plans?

- Fitness and nutrition assessments, information for exercise, nutrition & supplements, along with personal training sessions. This plan is specifically tailored to women’s fluctuating hormones during perimenopause and post menopause.What does a women’s specialty plan cost?
- Cost will depend on needs, goals, and wants, but the basic plan starts at $750 for a 6 week program.

Can I work with a Function Thru Fitness trainer remotely?
- Yes, we do provide virtual sessions for those who have equipment and are familiar with working out. This option is not recommended for beginners to exercising.What equipment do I need for virtual training sessions?

What happens during my first appointment or assessment?
- First appointments will include an assessment for pain if seeing a massage or neuromuscular therapist or a functional or biomechanical assessment if seeing a personal trainer. Assessments include of variety of movements and physical tests, as well as discussing your goals.Do I need a doctor’s referral to begin training or therapy?
- No, unless you have been recently under doctor care due to a surgery or injury.How long are appointments or sessions?
- We offer sessions in 30 min. or 60 min. sessions.What should I wear to my first visit?
- Comfortable clothing you can easily move in is appropriate.What’s your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
